Category › family › type tree with live counts and search. Picks add up across categories - doors and rooms together - or start from whatever is selected in Revit.
Choose the columns you need, type into cells, paste a block from Excel, or set one value on every target. Lengths in your project units, yes/no, levels and types by name - validated before anything is written, one Revit undo per commit.
Tick a category and the ribbon shows the tools for it - nothing else. Each tool opens a small form with a live dry run, runs in one transaction and reports exactly what it did: "Tagged 14 rooms, 2 skipped (unplaced)".
If … then set, Check rows where…, values built from patterns like {Level}-{Room:Number}-{Type}, fill only where empty, copy from host, worksets by category, plans for every level, tag rooms in every plan. The dry run is the confirmation.
Run a few tools, press Save recipe…, and they become one button: every step with its inputs, on any targets, in one undo. A Check rows where… step narrows the targets for the steps after it - that is your rule builder. Export a recipe as JSON, a colleague imports it.
Every edit and action is logged - element, parameter, old → new - and can be copied out for QA. Destructive actions show exactly what will change before you confirm, and stay undo-able in Revit.
